Did you know that newer apartment and co-op buildings are now including innovative amenities!? Gyms, shared co-working spaces, theaters, and even shared kitchens and snack centers.
What is great about these snack centers and shared kitchens, they can foster a sense of community by allowing pot luck events. The snack stations, whether included in the cost of rent or maintenance feee or additional fees, can harbor a place for tenants to interact especially if there is a coffee station. Otherwise a grab and go for a snack can help too when you’re on the go.

Iron Pier Beach is a public town-operated beach located on the Long Island Sound at the end of Pier Avenue in Jamesport (Northville area), New York. It features a sandy shoreline, a boat launch, a playground, restrooms, and seasonal lifeguards, making it a popular spot for sunsets, fishing, and family visits.
Parking: Open to the public, but a Town of Riverhead parking permit is required during peak season.

Some things about Long Island just don’t translate. You either get it or you don’t. As a native Long Islander, it’s embedded into our DNA

One - The bagel thing. It’s not a preference, it’s an identity. We’ll drive 20 minutes past three bagel places to get to the right one.

Two - “The City” means Manhattan. That’s it. There is no other city.

Three - The beaches have ranks. Robert Moses, Jones Beach, the spots nobody posts. Where you go says something about you.

Four - Everyone knows their commute to the minute.
Distance here isn’t miles. It’s “forty without traffic, an hour fifteen with.”

Five - The diner is sacred. Open late, fifteen-page menu, you’ve been going since high school. It’s not a restaurant. It’s an institution.
