Hey, you! I know we’re all busy, but I just wanted to share some of the things I ❤️❤️❤️ about August before summer comes to an end. Maybe some of my summer faves will motivate you to stop take a moment to embrace the season.

As busy as I am, I'm carving time out to sit in the sun, plan a picnic, go on a bike ride and shop at a Farmer's Market. I think these are all great ways to seize the last days of summer. How are you planning to spend the rest of your summer? 🏖🔅⛵🍹🌴🚲

It’s BACK TO SCHOOL time why not get organized for the year. Here are some tips for making your life easier this school year:
Organize your kids’ rooms:
1. Go through all their clothes and decide which ones still fit and those that don’t. If the clothes that don’t fit are in good condition you can either donate or sell them. Check out your local charities and consignment shops. Call the consignment shops to check out their schedule and requirements.
2. This tip comes from something my mom did for us. She put our most important school records and documents into a folder and when we became adults with children of our own, she gave us our file. I suggest going through what school documents and records (including school photos) and creating a folder for your child. This way you can reduce the clutter of paper that kids bring home and only keep the important stuff.
3. Toys and artwork. My granddaughter just loves to color, paint, and draw on EVERYTHING (including her Barbies). We are going to go through all her art and create an art wall in her room. This is a great way to decorate as well as encourage children to continue to explore their talents. You can do this with just about anything your child is into – collecting cars, dinosaurs, anything. Pick an area in their room to display their interests. Let them decide what they want to show-off. Everything else can either be donated or sold – this teaches them to be charitable and financially responsible.
