If your filter looks anything like this, it's long overdue for a replacement! A dirty filter can restrict airflow, reduce your HVAC system's efficiency, increase energy costs, and even shorten the life of your equipment.

Most homes should have their filter checked every month and replaced every 1–3 months, depending on the type of filter, pets, allergies, and usage.
