With 26 years experience here are a few things you should never do while cleaning your home....
1. NEVER stand or sit on the counter tops. I know the granite looks durable but unless you are a feather, stay off. If your house cleaner shows up with out her ladder just know she is a climber.
2. NEVER spray the mirror in its entirety and let it drip. Not all mirrors have clear caulk and you WILL cause damage when the liquid gets behind the glass. That's where the black blob comes from fyi. It is lazy and unnecessary.
3. NEVER use an abrasive cleaner or toilet bowl cleaner on your tile. You will ruin the enamel or grout.
4. All fixtures are finished do not use abrasive cleaners or tools EVER!
5. Have MOLD? Call a mold specialist. You or the cleaner will not remove mold. If it's under the caulk, it's under the tile. Yikes!
6. NEVER use the blue coated toilet tablets. They will cause a big blue problem. No one wants to see blue clumps when they flush. Besides... If you have a septic system, the problem could be times 2.
7. NEVER use a toilet scrubber with the metal center holding the brushes. If you don't have this type of brush and the metal shows up when I come to clean. This will be the last clean from me. You'll have to use the person who caused that non- repairable problem.
