I recently had the opportunity to tour the Residences at the Tribune Tower in Chicago after meeting the developer’s agent. She was gracious enough to offer the thoughtful story behind the history of the building and the team who transformed this iconic building into what has now become home to so many. This experience reminded me of why I love this work. It isn’t simply about beautiful materials or thoughtful space planning. It’s about creating places that shape how people gather, connect & experience life. It’s a lasting legacy of place and community that will far outlast our lifetime. That is meaningful work.

I appreciate friendship & faith in a way I have never before. I could not be more grateful for the new women in my life and the new friends that our church has brought to Reese. I have learned the importance of vulnerability and developing a relationship with God. We were meant to do this life in community. Today, I am grateful. It’s so exciting to collaborate with other artists. Having the opportunity to have Daniel Mueller photograph my own home feels very special. To watch the way he takes in each space in order to capture the perspective was neat. To watch an artist at work, in their element is truly beautiful. We all have been given unique gifts. God gave me an eye for design & the ability to curate beautiful spaces. The truth is I have not marketed my skills in design the way I yearn to. So, I am turning over a new leaf and coming out of my introverted shell. Thoughtful design fills my soul & working with people in order to help them create spaces that are a reflection of who they are and how they want to live brings significant meaning to my life as an artist. So, know that if you have an interest in making your house feel more like home, your own sacred space, but are unsure how to do it I would be honored to help. Each property has a story to tell. It is my own hope that Daniel’s future photos will attract those who want guidance in creating the next chapter of their home & story. Stay tuned to see photos & learn about the story of Happy, a name given to my own home by my daughter when she was young.
