‼️ DO NOT RECOMMENDED GOLDEN HOUR RANCH‼️

UNREGISTERED FARM

SELLS SICK CATTLE KNOWINGLY

‼️She gets calves weekly from where ever she can‼️

Has no known background on the calves, sire or dams,

Bought a nearly two week old holestin heifer weighing only 50lbs didn't make it five days.

She deleted my review on her business page.

If you don't recommend her page she'll delete your review. 😂😂😂

So if you have time please feel free to blow her page up and let everyone know she sells sick cattle. And the one I had was houses with others.

Elizabeth Ive written to you to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the calf I purchased from you and you ignored and blocked me. Unfortunately, the holestin heifer did not survive, and her condition from the very first night was alarming she exhibited bloody and watery stool. Despite my efforts to care for her, she remained very weak and unresponsive.

Since the day I received her, I have been doing everything I can to help her survive. I tub-fed her once she's taken her bottle twice the entire time I've had her, and since then, I continued feeding her by hand with a veterinarian metal syringe, giving her water, electrolytes, and milk to keep her hydrated along with probiotics. I spent hours sitting with her, wiping her down, and keeping her clean. I was up from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., if not later, caring for her every day. Physically, I had to lift her and place her on her feet, and since day two, she managed to stand and walk a few steps on her own, though she was very weak. Although she gained some weight during this time, she still ultimately died, which was heartbreaking.

This calf was very special to me she was my first calf, and I’ve always dreamed of having one. It’s been a personal and creative journey to raise her, and this experience has been extremely disheartening. My husband had concerns about her stool when he picked her up for me, and Elizabeth assured him that it was normal. Unfortunately, she continued to have bloody and watery stool I feel as if she knew she was sick and trying to mask her symptoms and sell her quick so she didn't infect the other cattle, her condition worsened despite our efforts. I also administered her antibiotics and the pills that was provided, as well as treating her with Corid as part of her care as recommended by Elizabeth. I believe that Elizabeth sent all the medications she thought I would need for a sick calf because she didn't want to deal with her or risk losing profit. Despite these efforts, the calfs condition continued to decline, and her death has been devastating. I believe she was sold to us while already sick, and I was misled when I asked if loose stool was normal. I was told it was, which now seems like false reassurance especially with all the knowledge I've obtained about holestin heifers in the last few months but mainly in the last few days. Given her underweight condition just 50 pounds as a Holstein heifer she should have been diagnosed and treated appropriately before sale.
