As managing real estate broker of Godoy Realty, Jaime H. Godoy deploys a wealth of knowledge and experience to buyers and sellers, continuing a successful 15-year vocation in the real estate industry. Jaime was born in Managua, Nicaragua and through his professional dedication and ambition has achieved his dream of founding a real estate company to continue his passion of servicing the community as well as first-home owners, foreign and commercial buyers and investors.
Jaime is considered one of the foremost experts in the South Florida’s tri-county real estate market, having facilitated the sale and lease of hundreds of properties as well as overseen and managed an excess of 1,000,000 sq ft of commercial and multi-family properties to date. Additionally, his skilled understanding of the multi-family, retail, office and industrial industries have afforded Jaime the demand of regularly working with property and business investors of all sizes.
Prior to starting Godoy Realty, Jaime worked alongside top residential and commercial property brokers and companies, including CRE Florida Partners, Current Capital Group Inc and Bertone International Realty. In these roles he regularly won awards and public acknowledgement as a top-producer and manager, in addition to building recurring relationships with local and foreign investors. During this tenure as an independent agent, Jaime built on his experience and understanding of commercial properties having navigated all channels including auctions, wholesalers, private inventories, networks, foreclosures and short-sales. In addition, he oversaw specialized leases for industrial, office, multi-family and retail clients. Jaime’s range of market awareness has also allowed him to successfully fulfill client requests outside of leasing and sales, which at any given time has included revitalizing multi-family units in low income neighborhoods for community economic improvement, retail and restaurant expansion plans to the assessment of property conditions.
At Godoy Realty, Jaime is committed to supporting his sales associate’s personal production as well as driving the strategic direction of the company, to help all clients achieve their ambitions. Jaime is affiliated and holds designations from the National Association of Realtors, CoStar, TLPMA and the REO Institute. He has an active Florida Real Estate Brokers License, Property Management Certificate and works with Miami/Broward Commercial Alliance, in addition to being REO, BPO and Short Sale Certified. Jaime is also a supportive advocate for the poor in third world countries and a participant in additional local, state and national associations. Jaime resides in Broward with his wife and their three children.
