We couldn’t agree more

There are two kinds of drive-thrus in America.

One has 37 cars wrapped around the building and somehow you’re holding your food before you finish deciding which sauce you want.

The other has 2 cars in line, one employee staring into the void, and a condiment policy that feels like it was written by Congress.

And honestly, this is why people notice excellence.

It’s not always the food. It’s the system. It’s the training. It’s the culture. It’s making the customer feel like they aren’t ruining your entire afternoon by asking for ranch.

Chick-fil-A figured out something a lot of businesses still miss:

Speed matters.
Kindness matters.
Consistency matters.
And yes, freely distributed condiments apparently matter too.

Meanwhile, McDonald’s will hand you one napkin for a family of five like it came out of their retirement account.

The older I get, the more I realize people will forgive a lot if they feel respected.

Bad service makes average food feel worse.

Good service makes chicken nuggets feel like a community event.
