Light at the end of the inflation tunnel? The Fed's preferred inflation gauge - PCE - is getting pretty close to their 2% target. How close is close enough for the Fed to resume cutting rates? For the answer, we need to watch the unemployment rate in the big BLS jobs report coming out today! Anything higher than 4.2% could cause Fed members to reevaluate the "pause".
