Born and raised in lima Peru he moved to United states at the age of 17. After finishing 2 years of law at universidad de Lima en Peru, he came to the United Sta

tes in search of finishing his career as an attorney in 1986. After applying to many colleges and finding out no college credits applied here from south america, he started to work as a bus boy at a chinese restaurant, to able to bring his parents and 2 younger brothers to the United States. While still working as a bus boy at night Yuri, his mom and dad worked cleaning 12 floors of offices for 2 years 10 hours at night, cleaning toilets, handling garbage and janitorial duties. Yuri applied at an AT&T calling center where he was hired as a telemarketer at the very building we would clean at night, after 12 months he was promoted to supervisor and then manager of sales where he head over 100 telemarketers. After working for a phone equipment company and long distance sales he decided to open his own log distance and cell phone company out of his home which he grew from zero to 15 million dollars a year in sales in 8 years employing over 150 people with 36 offices all over the state. After selling GCS wireless in 2005 he co founded with his brother G world properties, a thriving full service real estate company which after 11 years employees close to 100 people and continues to expand thru the state. Yuri also currently operates a real estate investment company handling many investors portfolios as well as Modern homes builders , a custom construction company with focus on higher end residential and commercial construction. He recently also co founded a title company and mortgage company in central florida. Yuri is also very active in the social media space and is looking to expand his business accomplishments to advertising and social media. He is a father of 3 and married to the love of his life, his way of business is colored by his focus of work-life balance giving priority to family quaiity time while working 18 hour days monday thru friday.

Tony always say.. the grass is always greener โ€ฆ if you water yours .. when things get tough people never blame themselves , they blame the environment , the people around them , the systems , the market , even what has lift them up and fed them for years โ€ฆ so the natural thing is to look for other people that are the same to convince each other and share the same negative points and stories and feel empower and they even get together with people that before did not care at all to help them, then they look for a change In The outside becasue the last thing they will admit is that the problem is themselves โ€ฆ. We have seen in 20 years of business people do this over and over , and they start with fireworks and announcements that last 1 to 3 months , then they fade or fight with each other and the reality of building a business sets in and go back to business and realize that the problem of what they didnโ€™t achieve was not the surroundings , was themselves , 1 year later they will see the same problems , 2 years later they check their results and is the same or much lower than before ;they also regret but they are always too proud to go back, people like these will never create anything big and something that lasts years because they jump from emotion to emotion looking for the magic pill, and the saddest thing is that the most they announce the more the whole community witness and sees their trajectory , what and where they were before , what they accomplished , what they tried and what comes next.

As always time tells all , not a month or three , but the time that takes to build something meaningful, the lesson for all my dear entrepreneurs : if you want to grow and build something big , your test is the first 1 to 3 years , in the same structure , the same sacrifice and the same consistency..
