☀️ If I Were Visiting Oshkosh for the Weekend, Here's Exactly What I'd Do...

Most people think of Oshkosh as just the home of EAA AirVenture, but locals know there is so much more to love about this city.

If I were planning the perfect Oshkosh staycation, here's my itinerary:

☕ Start your morning downtown
Grab a coffee and stroll along Main Street while checking out the local shops and historic buildings. Then head to the Oshkosh Farmers Market (when it's in season) for fresh produce, local vendors, and some of the best people-watching around.

🌳 Explore one of Oshkosh's hidden gems
Take a walk through the beautiful trails at Wiouwash Trail or spend some time at Terrell's Island. Many residents don't realize how much wildlife and natural beauty is tucked away right in the city.

🚤 Spend the afternoon on the water
Whether you're boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the lake, Lake Winnebago is one of the biggest reasons people fall in love with Oshkosh. Don't forget a stop at Menominee Park to enjoy the shoreline, beach, and zoo.

🍔 Dinner with a view
One of my favorite parts of summer is enjoying dinner along the Fox River. Places like Fox River Brewing Company offer great food, waterfront views, and that classic Wisconsin summer atmosphere.

🎶 Finish the evening downtown
Catch live music, attend one of our many summer festivals, enjoy a local brewery, or simply take a sunset walk along the riverwalk. Oshkosh has a way of making ordinary evenings feel special.

❤️ What I love most about Oshkosh is that it truly offers something for everyone—outdoor adventures, great restaurants, local events, beautiful waterfronts, and a welcoming community.

As a local Realtor, I spend a lot of time exploring our neighborhoods and communities, and one thing I've learned is that the best places are often the ones that don't make the travel guides.
