Walked by the garage door just a couple minutes ago. Saw an extension cord plugged in...well, not plugged in. This is very unsafe and could cause arcing which could cause a house fire. See this and plug it back in all the way! If it won't stay in all the way, the outlet could be 'tired' and not able to retain a plug...time to replace the outlet! House fires y'all...they do happen, these are some of the reasons. I always plug these things back in on my instructions when I see them.

Anyone had your house tested for radon? Radon is similar to smoking, both cause cancer. At a radon level of 8-10 pCi (what radon is measured in)... That's the equivalent of smoking A PACK A DAY!!!! Check out this picture of a home I tested this past Tuesday...27 pCi!!! Their basement was fully finished and used for living space (likely kid's bedrooms). Call me, let's get your house tested!!!

Know how I know that someone isn't certified for some things??? Little details that I see during inspections... Like the end of the tile not being cut, rather installed how it came out of the box. Writing the electric panel legend on the insulation next to the panel (smh). Oh, and non-grounded outlets in a newly finished basement of course :) I will however admit...using a MAXI PAD to catch a leak is GENIUS!! 🤣🤣🤣

Alright everyone........perhaps mother nature is starting to make up her mind and KEEP things on the warming trend rather than toying with us everyday! With that being said.....start thinking about your whole house humidifier....about time to start turning them off/closing the damper.

Let's be real.......you may or may not have changed your clocks yet. Might as well check your smoke detectors while you're at it! Shoot, wake the Fam up with them....get some practice : ) Changing your clocks probably won't save your family's lives.....so why wouldn't you check your smoke detectors too!

This is a check valve-something you'd put on a sump pump drain line so that evacuated water doesn't come back into the sump basin..........currently being used on a vent stack (no water thru it)........welp, it seals off the vent so it's not venting......yup, he's a plumber
