Pagosa Springs Colorfest is almost here!

As an aviator-owned home, we have a pretty massive soft spot for anything that takes to the skies! ✈️🎈 That’s why Pagosa Springs Colorfest is one of our absolute favorite local traditions.

Every autumn, the horizon transforms as hot air balloons lift off for a mass ascension over the breathtaking Southwest Colorado landscape. It is a bucket-list spectacle for anyone who loves aviation, photography, or just a beautiful mountain morning.

Planning to fly in for the festival? Pilot’s Peak is perfectly set up for you. Land at Stevens Field (KPSO), hop straight into our FBO-staged SUV rental, and you’ll be relaxing at the house in minutes. After you watch the morning balloons and enjoy the weekend's Wine and Food Festival, come home to challenge your co-pilots on our retro arcade cabinets (Mortal Kombat or Pac-Man, anyone?).

Good news! A couple months ago we got our STR permit from Archuleta County and our house is officially posted to Airbnb! We want feedback from guests on how we can improve, so prices will stay low while we have our first guests stay and help us learn what matters most in a vacation rental!

Pilots fly in to KPSO, grab our SUV which is staged at the airport, and be at the house in five minutes!
