Why I Started Pagosa Peaks Property Care

I’ve been in your shoes.
For awhile, my husband and myself were second homeowners in Pagosa Springs—excited to escape to the mountains, but always a little on edge when we weren’t here. One winter, out home was barely 40 degrees. The heat had gone out. We were this close to frozen pipes and the nightmare of water damage.

Thankfully, we had someone we trusted watching over our place. They caught the problem and had it handled before we arrived. That one moment made it clear: having boots on the ground isn’t just a luxury—it’s peace of mind.

Hi friends and neighbors! I’m thrilled to introduce myself and give you a little peek into the heart behind Pagosa Peaks Property Care.

With over a decade of experience owning and operating a successful residential and commercial cleaning business, I had the privilege of serving nearly 50 households —many of them for the entire life of my company. The long-standing trust those clients placed in me speaks volumes about my attention to detail, reliability, and respect for the homes I cared for.

After closing that chapter, I entered the world of real estate during some of the toughest years the industry has faced. Even then, I thrived—thanks to my professionalism, dependability, and unwavering commitment to my clients.

My journey brought me and my family to Chromo, Colorado, where we purchased our home in 2022. For the first few years, it was our vacation retreat. As anyone with a second home knows, the stress of being far away and not knowing what’s happening at your property can be overwhelming. I’ll never forget the peace of mind I felt when I found someone local I could trust to check in on our home—someone to be our eyes while we were away.

Now that we’re full-time residents, I see just how many people in our community are in the same shoes I once was. That’s why I started Pagosa Peaks Property Care—because I understand what it feels like to leave your home behind and wonder if everything’s okay.
