As $19 trillion in baby boomer home equity prepares to change hands, the heirs are missing. An estimated 15.2 million adults 55 and older are childless, meaning a historic transfer of wealth is being rerouted away from children and toward nieces, nephews, charities, and health care costs. Kelly was one of six Democrats with national security backgrounds who taped a video reminding members of the military that they didn't have to follow illegal orders.

President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth singled him out, with the Pentagon opening an investigation and threatening disciplinary action.
