Some celebrations are about so much more than a birthday or an anniversary. They are about a life of faithfulness, service, family, and the impact one person has made along the way. 💙

Last week at The Orchard at Ignite Living, we had the incredible privilege of celebrating **Matt Galyon’s 50th birthday and 25 years of service with Ignite Living!** 🎉🌳

For 25 years, Matt has poured his heart into this ministry, serving our residents, families, staff, and communities with a genuine love for the Lord, his family, and Ignite Living. Along the way, he has touched more lives than we could ever count.

And if you know Matt, you know we could not celebrate him without including two of his favorite things, gardening and chickens! 🐔🌿

We hid chickens throughout the room for residents to find in a fun competition for a gift card. We enjoyed cupcakes, a photo booth, lots of laughter, and our residents planted beautiful mums to help celebrate the day.

One of the most special moments was planting a tree in Matt’s honor. It will continue to grow here at The Orchard for years to come, just like the seeds Matt has planted in the lives of so many people over the last 25 years.

Staff from across our Ignite Living locations came together to celebrate him, and we were so grateful to have so much of Matt’s family there too. His mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, wife, daughter, and three sons were all there surrounding him with love.

Seeing his family together was such a beautiful reminder of the man behind the years of leadership and ministry. Matt loves his family deeply, loves the Lord faithfully, and has given so much of himself to this ministry and the people we serve.

Matt, thank you for 25 incredible years of serving, leading, loving people, and living out the heart of Ignite Living.

Celebrating folk arts at The Orchard at Ignite Living! 🧶🍎

Our ladies enjoyed learning the timeless art of crochet, while Regina shared her talents by teaching loom knitting.

There’s something special about learning with your hands, sharing traditions, and creating alongside friends. It’s another beautiful reminder that there is always something new to discover at The Orchard. 💚

It’s been a BIG month of celebrating Matt! 🥳

Not only are we celebrating 25 incredible years of service, but yesterday we also had the privilege of celebrating his 50th birthday! 🎂🎉

Matt has poured so much of his heart into this ministry and into the people who call The Orchard at Ignite Living home. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, his servant’s heart, and the many years of memories he has helped create along the way.
Happy 50th Birthday, Matt, and congratulations on 25 years! What a milestone week! 💙

Mr. Beaumont took a road trip! 🐾💙

The Orchard’s favorite little pup made a special visit to Ignite at Hiawassee Park, where he spent a few days making new friends, giving puppy cuddles, and bringing plenty of smiles along the way.

Sometimes a little extra joy comes with four paws. 🐶
