📢 Reminder: No-Burn Ordinance in Panama City 🔥🚫

Following the Bay County's recent Burn Ban, the City of Panama City reminds all residents that open burning is strictly prohibited at all times under City Ordinance 2527.

This includes (but is not limited to):
❌ Burning household garbage
❌ Burning yard debris
❌ Burning construction materials
❌ Any outdoor fire that produces visible emissions

What is allowed:
• Charcoal or gas grills used for cooking food
• Approved outdoor fireplaces (fire pits, chimineas, etc.), provided they:
- Are commercially manufactured and used as intended
- Are at least 10 feet away from structures, vehicles, overhangs, and property lines
- Have a spark arrestor
- Are properly maintained and in good condition

⚠️ Important Note:
Due to worsening drought conditions, low humidity, and windy weather, fire risks are extremely high. We urge residents to exercise extreme caution and follow strict fire-prevention measures to prevent accidental fires.
