Still over 100 degrees and our shades stay down most of the day, but fun to walk through a room and see the silhouettes and play of light.

The heat will break very soon, and we will all exhale a collective sigh of relief.

This made me laugh. Jeremiah was the buyer and he's laughing at it!!

What do these items have in common?

✔️ All vintage
✔️ All pre-owned
✔️ All better than anything at Home Goods

This is eclectic. All items I’ve curated, and would easily put in a room together today!

Someone inquired earlier about my fantastic set of Florentine TV trays that are listed on my website. Made in Italy for Neiman Marcus. www.sullivaneclectic.com

At the same time I was researching this newly acquired signed and numbered print. I was like, “Wow, these two look great together” and I love the juxtaposition with the fantastic modern gold frame.

The silver plate candleholders are also newly acquired from a philanthropic thrift store, I’m into mixing metals. I’d put a cream candle in them.

The stunning Jasperware vase is in a rare light taupe and it’s been sitting to the side as I like to admire items before I determine if, when and where to sell. 🤔

The three rectangular porcelain dishes are from Holland, and will look smashing on a gallery wall or a smallish wall where they can command attention.

The mini embroidered footstool was a show stopper at the marketplace and I put a pretty hefty price as I wasn’t quite ready to part with her. 😉 The olive green and pop of yellow and red are the color this vignette needs.

I pulled two books I’d stack nearby for visual and reading pleasure. John Rombola
“Eclectic Eccentric” and “A World History of Art”.

Follow along. You never know where these [and other] great finds are going to pop up for sale!
Website, IG live or story sales, Booth A21 at America’s Antique mall or at a local event.

The show is over and I could NOT have done it without the help of these 3 amazing women!! 😘

It was a success in my eyes and here’s why :

✨ I met amazing people that were either vendors at the event, or own / rent spaces somewhere else. They offered great encouragement & advice!
✨ Excellent experience, as I have never had any type of retail space before. So much goes into it, and my daughters were so helpful to make sure my tech was on point! 😅
✨ Made my rent and then some. Let’s face it , I started this to make money. No one wants to talk about that side of things, but I will. Still more to learn. 💰
✨ Tried something NEW! For that I am immensely proud. Not easy at 61 years of age.
✨ I seek knowledge, it’s in my DNA. I have learned so much about myself, this industry, retail in general and I am grateful.

Thanks to the many family & friends that either stopped by or sent words of encouragement! 🩵✨

I am strategizing over my next moves, more to come so stay tuned!
