Buyers notice everything. As a seller, your best course of action is to make sure their eyes go to what you want them to look at. Simple changes like the kitchen hardware, the front doormat, a spruced up front patio and an organized pantry will catch their eye and go a long way towards them liking at your house. These are easy fixes, relatively cheap fixes, and they can be done quickly before you get ready to list. I just did this list with one of my sellers and as the buyer was going through the house believe it or not they happened to talk about every single one of the things that we did and how much they like them. ⚠️Heed my warning!! don’t do this. 😤You will be very mad at yourself for the rest of the day I’m going to chalk this up to today’s stupidity. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s stupidity will be. 😂😂 that’s what I get for trying to film 🎥some content, 📲speak to a client about a property they wanted to see that unfortunately is no longer available, and 🍽️get ready to go and meet a colleague for lunch. Gloomy New York day. But I love them. Wish I was spending it cuddled on the couch, but maybe later when I’m done with my day. Do you like gloomy days like me? Still sounds like we’re gonna be getting snow Sunday into Monday and if you’re in real estate, you know what that means, it means Saturday and Sunday are going to be very busy because everyone afraid of the snow is going try to get in all their showings. ゚

Referrals are how I make most of my business. So when I get a referral from a past client or numerous referrals from the past client like this one always so humbled that the job I did was so good and important to them that they refer me to their family and friends in real estate, your reputation really can mean everything as for babysitting the grandkids. That’s the best part about being a meemaw. All the fun none of their responsibility 😂😂.

I am obsessed with this pet peeve. Probably because it sometimes happens daily. I first want to preface this by saying as a real estate agent I can’t always answer my phone. If I’m with a client I never answer my phone, so there are lots of times I must let it go to voicemail. I know my rant is a little long but this happens so many times a day it’s crazy. Just leave a voicemail or text me so I know you called. Otherwise don’t be upset I never called you back. In the Real Estate business we get a lot of phone calls including unsolicited spam sales calls so if your number isn’t in my phone log as someone I know, I’m not going to know you’ve called and I’m not going to call you back unless you’ve left me a message. Am I the only one who feels this way? Happy Wednesday folks.

Another day. Another house. Trying to think outside the box in a market where we don’t have a lot of inventory is important. It could be the difference between waiting another six months and getting something now. The idea of maybe looking at something that is smaller for their needs but located where they want is a great idea as long as of course it can be adapted and extended to what they’d like. looking forward to seeing if that’s a good possibility today.

The search goes on for my clients. We will find the perfect Waterfront retirement property for them. It just takes time. Not a lot of houses on the market. We are low on inventory. Hoping for something terrific this week.
