Interesting article. It's true that people with low interest rates don't want to give it up. We're told people move every 5-7 years....10 years possibly. See comment about mortgage rates follow the 10 yr Treasury Yield. On the flip side, it is difficult for first time homebuyers to "jump in" with the current rates. If the average duration of a mortgage increases, then I see the point about increased rates. People pay their mortgage with inflated dollars, so many don't want to pre pay or pay off early....or even move. Double edge sword. I wonder how it will "play out". Thoughts?

Do you have ceiling fans? If yes, in winter, the fan blades need to be adjusted to turn "clockwise". This pulls the cooler air up and pushes warm air down so that heat is more evenly distributed. There is a toggle button on the fan to do this. Turn the fan off, then toggle the switch if they are turning "counter clockwise". Then when you start running the AC next year, repeat the process.
Winter - blades turn clockwise
Spring/Summer - blades turn counter clockwise
