340 kids in Northwest Florida are waiting for one adult to show up for them. One hour a week is all it takes. 💙
We sat down with Paula Shell, the 29-year CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, and this might be the most important episode we've put out yet.
Paula broke down exactly what it looks like to become a big, why the matching process is way more intentional than most people think, and how you can do it with as little as one hour a week or even once a month. There's even a Big Duo option where you and a friend sign up together and share the responsibility.
And for the men watching this — the waitlist is full of little boys. You are who they need most right now.
If you can't give time, you can give at bethebig.org with a donation. If you own a business, there are sponsorship opportunities for their upcoming events including the Century Ride in Santa Rosa County and the Big Gala coming in February.
Every single kid on that waitlist is the future of our community. Let's show up for them. 💙
