I got to walk through this entire home and I honestly don’t know which room I loved most. 🤍

116 W. DeSoto Street, North Hill Historic District. built in 1910, first time on the market in generations.

the porch stops you before you even get inside. then the kitchen, Wolf, Bosch and Sub-Zero appliances, a butler’s pantry with a built in ice machine, all tucked into a home that still feels completely original.

there’s a honeymoon phase and it’s real, it can last a year or two where everything feels shiny and new and kind of like vacation. then real life sets in and you start asking the real question, do i like it here or did i just like that it was new

we hit that wall last year if i’m being honest. no family here means holidays can feel quiet, or you’re spending a good chunk of money flying home, but it’s the best when family makes the trip out to see us. 🤍

making friends was probably the hardest part, especially working from home with no built in office crew to lean on. i downloaded bumble bff when we moved here and made some really close friends that way, then they moved away lol, so i might be redownloading that app soon 🥲

finding the side of town that feels like yours matters more than people realize too. we ended up near the alabama line and at first i thought we made a mistake because everything felt 45 minutes away, but now it’s our sanctuary, quiet and ours in a way i didn’t expect to love

we questioned everything last year, researched other states and made lists trying to find somewhere that checked every box. then i’d go stand by the water and hear the seagulls and watch the pelicans fly over that insane blue green water, and i’d just know, there’s nowhere else i’d rather be

but here’s the good news, you do come out the other side of that wall. i hope you get there too, just like we did, because there’s so much good happening in pensacola right now and i really love that this is our home

I am SO happy for my sweet buyers who found me on TikTok and are relocating from the east coast down to Florida.

It took about 6 months from our first meeting to get to the closing table. With many homes tours, selling their home in NJ, and a lot of good vibes we made it happen!

📍gulf breeze / tiger point
not quite gulf breeze proper, sits between gulf breeze and navarre, still a quick shot to the water

📍east hill
close to downtown AND the beach, best of both worlds

📍pensacola downtown
still an easy drive, tons of character and history

📍ferry pass
central, close to everything, easy access to 9th ave

📍west pensacola
a little further out but budget friendly

📍beulah
growing fast, more space, new construction everywhere

📍cantonment
quiet, affordable, bit more of a drive to the sand

📍pace
family friendly, great schools, just outside the city

📍milton
most affordable option, longer drive but worth it for some
