A little over a year and a half ago, I prayed a prayer I didn't say out loud very often, but if you know me, I was quite intentional with that prayer (more to that story another day): that God would bring the right man into my life. Not just a good man. THE man. Someone who would love me well, love my family, share my faith, and stand beside me in every season, not just the easy ones.
He answered that prayer with Matthew Kelly
We knew each other first as solo agents, each building our own thing, with a genuine respect for how the other showed up in this business. A few months into dating, he looked at me and said, "I want to join alongside you." That was it. That was the moment I knew this was different, because he wasn't just choosing me, he was choosing to build something with me. Out of that, The K-Luxe Group was born. But long before it was ever a brand, it was two people who happened to share the same values: faith, integrity, and service, above everything else.
What I didn't expect was how much deeper it would go. This man brings me peace in the chaos, joy in the ordinary days, and more laughter than I know what to do with. He shares my vision for our future, loves my family and friends like they're his own, and leads with a humility and kindness that is rare to find, especially in this industry. And okay — he's also incredibly handsome, so there's that too. 😉
I get to do LIFE with this man. Every single day. I get to build a business, a home, and a legacy with someone who is my equal in every way that matters. Someone I trust completely.
And then, this week, while we were in Coronado, Matt caught me completely off guard. I had no idea. He'd already arranged a DJ, photographers, everything, and got down on one knee on the beach in front of a few hundred friends who were there celebrating with us. I still can't fully put into words what that moment felt like. Surrounded by people we love, on the sand, saying yes to forever with the man I prayed for.
So yes....we're engaged. 💍
Thank you, Jesus, for answering a prayer I didn't even know how to fully pray for. For bringing me a partner in business and in life, when I least expected it and most needed it. I don't take one single day of this for granted. I am beyond excited to marry this man, the one I prayed for, and the one who has my heart.
Here's to Matthew Kelly, to Coronado, to whatever God has next for us, and to building a life and a legacy together.
