by attending professional demonstrations and seminars throughout the country to keep up with the current cake decorating trends. Karolyn's Kakes, LLC is a licensed and insured home bakery in Bensalem, PA. If you want a KAKE for your event, the best way to reach me is to send me an email, my email address is [email protected]. Please let me know the EXACT date (not just the month!), theme, and # of people the kake will have to feed. During the week my time is spent working on my kakes, so I will try to answer messages and emails in a timely manner. I do return emails on the weekends if I can't get to them during the week. Generally my kakes are $5 - $30 per serving. Size and detail determine price. Minimum order is $100. Once you know the theme and # of people it has to feed I can give you a better idea of the price. You can hold a spot at any time (if I have availability that week) with a $100 deposit. I can’t guarantee a date will be available unless I have a deposit. Most of my kakes are iced in Buttercream icing. I get it so super smooth that a lot of people mistake it for fondant! I occasionally cover kakes in fondant when necessary (dark colored kakes or some sculpted kakes). I use the Wilton Party Serving Size chart to determine the serving sizes of my kakes.
