Our real estate investment journey started with one thing… our first purchase. 🏠🙏🏼 And it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come since that first purchase in 2018…
As a military spouse, I saw firsthand how stressful PCS moves can be 😣 new duty station, new city, no support system. So I became the boots-on-the-ground for friends & family relocating to Norfolk / Virginia Beach…
And along the way, I discovered something BIG 👇
The opportunity that we have as military families to use our VA loan benefit not just to buy a home… but to build an investment portfolio whether you’re moving duty station to duty station or staying local.
What started as a way to build our own investments while helping others…turned into SO much more!
It turned into a mission:
to turn renters into homeowners & military members into landlords. 🇺🇸

2018 – First home in Milton, FL
Rented every room → paid $0 toward our mortgage
Now produces +$500/month 💰
2019 – Norfolk, VA purchase at $212K
Now worth $300K+ & cash flowing another ~$500/month
2021 - added two more rentals in PA & NJ
2024 – Bought our current primary home
(Future short-term rental 👀)
…and we didn’t stop there 😬
👉 Added TWO more properties last year in 2025
• one via seller financing
• one using a DSCR loan
👉 AND we’re currently under contract on another 🙈
