This photo popped up on my phone today.

This was taken in 2020. My kids had to join me for a headshot photo shoot for work and the photographer snapped a few with them.

They actually had to join me from time to time on work related activities when I didn’t have child care, but had clients needing to tour properties. Memories of Conor tagging along on an occasional showing were not highlights of the professionalism I prefer to offer. He was a goofy and energetic kid who didn’t always feel like ‘playing’ professional. I still cringe at the moments he was scaling walls, sprinting down driveways, spinning in chairs at the office, or the time he slipped on ice during a showing.

Trying to wear both my Realtor hat and Mommy hat simultaneously was an incredible challenge, but I did it. To any clients from that era: Thank you for giving me the grace I needed in those moments and for trusting my expertise to guide you through the process!

The work/mommy balance has evolved and become much easier since then, but 11+ years in this business and these two beautiful humans are still what drives me to show up every day.
