Here’s the truth:
Most of my work starts under pressure. Tight timelines. Tight budgets. Tight constraints. No chance to map out the full vision.

And that’s okay.

Design isn’t about control — it’s about trust. Sometimes the best process is no process at all. When clients trust the vision, the outcome always exceeds the plan that never existed.

This was a BIG week….
As most of you know we love exciting impactful projects. This one is personal and involves us investing in a community that we both live in and love. I never thought when I got to Asbury in 2009 that this is where we would be sitting. Today and our families closed on the historic Tides Hotel. It is a tremendous space with an amazing history and we are honored to steward its next chapter. With an intentional nod to its long historical past and hug of inclusion to the beautifully diverse community that has been our happy place. We will be closed for renovations this winter and spring and look forward to seeing familiar faces. More to come soon!
