How can you spot quality in new construction, before diving into all the specs? 👀

Sometimes, you can actually feel it.

A few things I pay attention to within the first few minutes of walking a home:

• Cabinetry: Does it feel solid and substantial? What materials are being used?
• Trim: Look at how it’s installed and how clean the transitions and finishes are.
• Walls: Smooth or textured? Either can be intentional, but consistency and ex*****on matter.
• Glass & doors: Especially in bathrooms, does the glass and hardware feel sturdy or flimsy?
• Overall finish: Pay attention to the small details. They can tell you a lot about the level of craftsmanship throughout the home.

These aren’t the only indicators of a quality build, but they’re a few things you can spot almost immediately.

I've been a little hesitant to share this because every home and every situation is different. But after seeing it firsthand over and over again, it's clear: the market has shifted.
