My first visit to The Grove. Service was exactly what I needed to hear…funny how that works sometimes. It made me realize everyone needs support in one way or the other - doing it alone is the tough way - so I am here if you need someone by your side regardless of what you are working through. Today was one of the days I cried the most since losing my mom seven months ago/ right time, right place. Side note: The coffee shop is darling and delicious, open most days, check it out, never had Peixoto coffee before.

Speaking from experience, as our parents age there can be many changes that occur whether it be with their health, finances or multiple situations that require a need for change. Change can be scary, overwhelming or fearful but if you have the right people by your side, it can ease the transition to one of comfort, certainty and necessity full of confidence that you are making the right decision. Remembering the glorious day last month when I met up for coffee at the most darling spot with these two caring, brilliant women that are full of wisdom, heart and desire to help. Their friendship and passion led them to create Golden Era Senior Solutions💖💖💖Ari and Veronica…much appreciation for helping my family and I find assisted living for my parents last year and memory care for Mom earlier this year. You made a difficult experience a lot easier and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Full Circle Moments in Life appear and they make you stop and think. My 83 yr old father calls me "Baby Girl" and I'm 53 and LOVE the name. Parents care for their babies and sometimes when our parents age, we have a role reversal and get to take care of them. Blessed that my Daddy and I get to share a home for now. Not all parents / children have the opportunity. Being responsible for a parent is similar to caring for your child until you stop to think about when your relationship started, all of the years in between and where you are now. Just sharing what's on my heart. What has been your experience?
