The Housing Market Skinny: Experts to Convene at 2026 Philadelphia Real Estate Symposium
For the third consecutive year, regional leaders will gather to share current data, emerging trends, and forward-looking insights on the real estate market at the Philadelphia Real Estate Symposium, taking place Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Penn’s Landing Caterers, 1301 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia. Free parking will be available.
Building on strong momentum—attendance has grown from approximately 200 participants last year to more than 300 expected this year—the Symposium has become a key forum for real estate professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to exchange practical intelligence on the region’s evolving housing landscape.
This year’s program will feature keynote presentations from Kevin Curran, Senior Regional Economic Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and Angela Brooks, Chief Housing and Urban Development Officer for the City of Philadelphia. GPAR will also deliver a “State of the Movement” update led by CEO Kate Berard. Panel discussions will examine affordability, housing policy, development, and strategies for navigating a changing market.
“Our work intersects with nearly every facet of real estate, so this event is a valuable opportunity to connect with peers and stay informed on where the market is heading,” said Neil M. Hilkert, Esq., co-founder of PAX Legal, Inc., a returning participant and sponsor of this year’s Symposium.
A focal point of discussion will be Philadelphia’s H.O.M.E. initiative, aimed at addressing low housing inventory and expanding access to attainable housing options.
“We’ve been involved since the Symposium began and have seen it quickly grow into an important regional conversation,” added Lida L. Bonner, Esq., co-founder of PAX Legal, Inc. “Each year brings fresh perspectives and actionable insights.”
Although the event is nearing capacity, registration remains open to real estate professionals and related industries, as well as prospective homebuyers and sellers. Tickets are $10 per person (plus service fee) and include refreshments. All proceeds benefit The Bethesda Project, which serves Philadelphia’s homeless population. A vendor expo will also be held in conjunction with the program.
