Over the weekend, our beautiful tri-community area — Kensington Ridge, Lakeview Estates, and Estates of Lakeview Townes in Milford, MI — was targeted by a large group of skateboarders entering the neighborhood to perform and film dangerous downhill stunts for social media content on our winding, hilly roads and paths.

While everyone understands the appeal of recreation and content creation, these types of activities created serious safety concerns for residents, drivers, pedestrians, and families throughout our community.

If something like this happens in your neighborhood, here are important steps to take to help keep everyone safe and help prevent it from happening again:

✔️ Report incidents immediately to local law enforcement and HOA contacts
✔️ Document safely (videos, photos, license plates, time stamps)
✔️ Avoid direct confrontation for your own safety
✔️ Share information with neighbors so everyone is aware
✔️ Continue reporting even if activity stops before police arrive
