LEVEL: Equity Building (LEVEL) is a 501c3 nonprofit providing a holistic, system-innovating program model to develop homeowners, housing stock, and communities at a pace complementing each other. Working at the intersection of Asset-Based Community Development principles and market-based realities, we are invited into neighborhoods and work alongside and in the community to move its residents into

sustainable homeownership. Our process includes the collection and mapping of community data which informs and drives all decision making and investment strategies. This data and shared resources, strategically working together, to help facilitate opportunities for homeownership, small business start-ups, workforce development, education, health, arts and culture, youth development, food access and anything else that might be discovered – the possibilities are truly endless.

Just under three months ago, Susan Kelly from Dollar Bank invited Chantel Jasmine to a Future Homeowner Event at the HUB. That day, Jason Tigano took them to visit Chantel's future home.

Last week, Chantel shared her path to homeownership, introduced Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, and joined Jason, Susan, and others to cut the ribbon on the five newly renovated, for-sale affordable homes on Woodward Ave. in McKees Rocks—homes that will soon welcome other new neighbors.
