A massive thank you is in order for our public works, fire, police and EMS crews for keeping everyone safe during the snowstorm. They've been working around the clock to clear the streets as quickly as possible, monitor changing forecasts, respond to emergency calls and much more.

And thank you to our residents for your patience, your help in clearing sidewalks and for staying home as needed.

❄️ Winter reminder ❄️

Yesterday, I was showing homes to one of my clients—someone who was a seller in a previous transaction and is now a buyer.

We had already seen two homes when he asked if we could visit one more. With a snowstorm approaching, we decided to make the drive and save time.

After about 30 minutes, we arrived and walked inside to find ice hanging from the faucet. The house was freezing. My client laughed and said,
“Ralda, now I understand why you were so strict about leaving the heat on when I signed the Winterization form back in October.”

We had to end the showing early because of the cold. Later, the listing agent messaged me to say they had just been there with a heating company to fix the thermostat.

A real estate tip from the heart:
Never leave your home، especially a vacant one—without heat during winter. Keeping a moderate temperature helps protect your pipes and your property. The right advice truly matters.
