Honestly?

If I’m not with my family, I’m grinding.

Over the last 12 years, I’ve had dozens of people probably more, tell me they want to do what I’m doing.

And I get it. From the outside, it looks exciting. Fast. Scalable. Free.
But when they get a glimpse of the pressure, the pace, and the stress you have to manage?

Most people wilt, instead of embrace the opportunity that is on the other side of learning.

What’s made the difference for me isn’t some morning routine or miracle planner. It’s this:

I’ve gotten really good at blocking out noise and staying dialed in on signal.....not noise.

I keep a weekly list of high-value tasks. Not just busy work, but the stuff that actually moves the needle.

When I take a call or get interrupted, I glance at the list and get right back in the lane.

I make decisions without ego, and I move fast, that combo alone helps me get more done than most.

When I first started raising capital, I thought investors wanted fast answers.

I’d get questions like:
❌ “Can I double my money in a year?”
❌ “Is this risk-free?”
❌ “Just send me the summary.”

I get it. Time is tight. But here’s what I’ve learned after years of investing and working with hundreds of borrowers and lenders:

👉 The best investors — the ones who build generational wealth — ask better questions.

They ask:
✔️ “What’s your worst-case scenario and how do you manage it?”
✔️ “What assumptions are you making in your pro forma?”
✔️ “What’s your track record with projects like this?”

Those questions tell me they’re not just chasing returns — they’re protecting principle.

Being a father is a balancing act.
It’s grinding at work to provide for your family—
and knowing when to shut it down to be fully present with them.
It’s pushing harder when you’re tired,
because you remember exactly who’s counting on you.
It’s realizing your kids are always watching—
learning how a man should lead, love, and live.
It’s showing your daughters what respect looks like
by how you treat their mother.
It’s responsibility.
It’s giggles.
It’s pride.
It’s pressure.
It’s purpose.
It’s showing up, even when you fall short.
And more than anything—it’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.

Dunk Your Landlord! Yep! We are going to try it at the apartment community that probably has the most people that don't love us.....yet.

We organized a Back to School Event to give all kids in our community a backpack with school supplies.

Somehow a Dunk Tank came up and I must have laughed hard enough to make my team think that was an authorization.

Oh well....let's go with it.
