In case you missed it: 400 Rathbun Road in Hancock closed in August at $1,300,000, a new record sale price for residential real estate in town. The Berkshire Eagle quoted me on what the sale says about northern Berkshire County. Article below.

A 5,300-square-foot home on 27 acres at 400 Rathbun Road sold for $1.3 million in August, breaking the Hancock residential sales record it set five years ago.

3,491 feet. On a clear day you can see five states from the top.

Mount Greylock, Adams, MA. About 40 minutes north of Lenox. The Appalachian Trail crosses the summit, and Bascom Lodge up there does breakfast and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. The lodge closes mid-October and the summit road closes around November 1, so get there soon.
