From leases signed to doors opened, seeing a deal become a fully operating business is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Here’s a look at just some of the notable openings across LMC’s retail portfolio so far this year — from traditional retail and dining to fitness and experiential concepts.

Retailers aren't just holding steady — they're rethinking how they reach and serve customers.

Levin Management Corporation surveyed retailers across our 125-property portfolio for our 2026 Mid-Year Retail Sentiment Survey. Here's what stood out:

📊 Performance is holding firm — 61.6% of retailers reported flat or higher year-to-date sales, and 63.9% reported flat or higher customer traffic
🛍️ BOPIS leads the way — Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store is now the most widely offered fulfillment option in our portfolio, followed closely by local delivery and curbside pickup
📱 Marketing is shifting — Instagram, TikTok and organic social are where retailers are putting their energy, meeting shoppers where they actually spend their time
🤖 AI has gone mainstream — 66.4% of retailers are now using, testing, or exploring AI, and nearly half are putting new dollars into technology this year
🔮 Confidence holds — 71% expect sales to stay steady or improve in the second half of 2026

Bottom line: retail is moving forward with intention — investing in convenience, technology and the channels that matter most.
