With an Architectural Residential Design degree, Nicole brings a wealth of home knowledge to Pleasant View Realty. Beginning her home design career as the sole designer for a lumber yard during the housing boom of the 1990’s enabled her to work in a high pressure environment with a variety of contractors and homeowners, all of this while still making client satisfaction her top priority. This care
er move eventually allowed her to work from home so she could also be a stay-at-home mom. Now that her sons have entered adulthood, Nicole is looking forward to pursuing a career she has always felt would be a solid match to her Architectural Residential Design degree…a realtor. Sam, Nicole’s older son, will graduate in the spring of 2025 from UW-Platteville with a degree in Construction Management. He has already secured a job with a local commercial contractor. Max, also a student at UW-Platteville, is a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is on track to graduate in 2027. Nicole’s expertise regarding the components of a home, passion for design, and experience working with clients in pressure filled situations will be an asset as the home buying and selling process is navigated. Determination until the client is satisfied has always been the top goal in home design and will remain so in real estate. During the last three decades, Nicole has worked on countless new construction designs, renovations and also acted as the general contractor on two of her family’s homes. Although she enjoys all forms of design, renovations are her personal favorite. She finds it gratifying to work on a project to see it develop new life and accommodate another generation's needs. Being able to look at a home and see the potential that others may overlook is one of her talents that is worth the client utilizing. Having built two homes in the Kettle Moraine State Forest and residing in the area since 1998, she is familiar with a wide area from Elkhart Lake to Kewaskum. Growing up in Johnsburg she is also familiar with the “Holyland” area. Nicole also has an exciting job at Road America during public race weekends. Working in the security division for the past few years has been a unique experience. She thoroughly enjoys meeting new people from all around the world and is grateful for all the new contacts she has made. In her free time she enjoys hiking (especially with her dog, Scout), running, biking and kayaking. An ideal day for her is when she spends more time outdoors rather than in…no matter the weather! Nicole would consider it a privilege to be part of your “home story” like she has been with hundreds of others throughout the years!
