Today’s lunch was spent with some of my Coldwell Banker Realty crew talking about our summer reading pick: What Real Estate School Didn’t Teach You

Because there’s a LOT about being a real estate agent that you simply don’t learn in real estate school. The business side, client relationships, marketing, negotiation, mindset, and all the little things that come with actually building a real estate business.

And I have to say… learning over the Mezze Board at Tavern on the Wharf was a pretty great way to spend a lunch

Learning, good food, ocean views, and Realtor conversations? I’ll take it🌊✨

Nearly midnight on Friday and I’m finally able to finish off my day🧘🏻‍♀️

Coldwell before work.
Work until 4ish.
Made dinner.
Ran to BJ’s for a few things for the house.
Came home.
Edited this Reel.
And now… I’m calling it. It’s time to relax✨

And honestly, that’s kind of the point of it all, right?

I’m a Realtor. I’m a resin artist. I’m a warehouse manager. I’m a nature lover. I’m constantly building something, learning something, working toward something.

Are all Realtors the same?

Not exactly👀

Just like hiring an electrician, plumber, contractor, or any other licensed professional, having the license is only the starting point.

The approach, communication, experience, resources, marketing, and level of service can look very different from one professional to another.

That’s why I think one of the most important questions to ask when choosing a Realtor is:

“What does working with you actually look like?”

Over the next few reels, I’m going to pull back the curtain on what I offer my clients; from marketing and technology to the people working behind the scenes to help keep a transaction moving.

Because choosing a Realtor is about more than choosing a license.
