Unpopular opinion: hidden rooms are a waste of money.

They're cool. I get it. But you're paying for framing, finish, and a mechanism on a room that's supposed to be invisible. That money buys you a lot more if you put it somewhere you'll use every day.

Like an extra deep garage. Or a butler's pantry — which is usually bigger than the pantry it's replacing.

Or a dedicated office, which is the single most requested thing we build right now.

All three are S tier. The hidden room is a D.
