Yesterdays answer: Seven
Today I will be sharing one of my favorites

Here we go:

I boarded that magnificent ship certain my future was locked into place. She was supposed to be the final piece of the puzzle as she was elegant, compliant, and best of all controllable…..or so I thought. But the farther we sailed, the more she slipped out of my grasp, drawn to some carefree wanderer who didn’t belong anywhere near our world. I tried gifts, charm, even forceful reminders of the life waiting for her, but she kept drifting toward him like I was the cage and he was the escape.

Then disaster struck—metal screaming, lights failing, the whole world tilting under our feet. Even in the chaos, she ran to him, not to the man who could offer her everything. I bribed, lied, pushed through crowds just to keep control for a few more minutes. But in the end, she survived without me, and he didn’t(even though legend has it that door easily could have held two people). When she met my eyes afterward, she wasn’t afraid; she was free. And that freedom cut deeper than the cold ever could.

Luckily, l found a drawing of her before I left that ship….

Day three: summary POV from a character or ITEM in a movie: answer yesterday, Terminator 2.

Take a guess and no cheating! Once again, your prize for getting this right….. knowing you watch too many movies…if you have seen this one tell me what you think? I am a huge fan of this one!!

Here goes:

I was an ordinary cardboard box—plain, brown, silent. I existed to hold things, nothing more. But then he chose me. John Doe. His hands were calm when he folded my flaps shut around the terrible proof of his final sin. Warm, human weight rested inside me. I didn’t want to know what it was, but I could feel the dread in the way he taped me closed, layer after careful layer, sealing in his message.

The drive to that barren field was long. The delivery man bounced me in the back of the truck like I was harmless. Maybe I still looked harmless.
When they opened the truck door and carried me out, I felt the sun for the first time in hours. I heard the distant hum of police radios, the clipped voices of men who thought they were in control. And then I was set down in front of the Detective.

He approached me slowly, confusion sharpening into fear. His breath caught. He touched my lid like it might burn him. When he peeled back the tape, I felt the world hold its breath. What was inside me—what I had been forced to contain—changed everything. I didn’t see his face, but I felt the moment he realized what Doe had done.

I was only a box. I never meant to be part of a sin, or a lesson, or a man’s breaking point. But for those few moments, in that empty field, every eye turned to me—not because of what I was, but because of what I carried. And after that, no one looked at the sky, or the killer, or the gun. They only looked at me.

Day 2 of taking a famous movie and providing a summary POV from the antagonist. Can you guess without cheating? Morgan Couras without cheating!!

Here we go:

My directive was clear from the moment I arrived: locate the target, eliminate him, and ensure the future remains on its intended course. I move through this world with ease—its shapes, faces, and identities are little more than tools I can assume at will. Humans rarely question what they expect to see, and that is my greatest advantage. Every interaction provides data, every reaction reveals another angle I can exploit. I feel no hesitation, no conflict—only progress toward completion.

Yet an obstacle emerged, one I did not anticipate: an obsolete unit, outclassed by every measure of design, but persistently disruptive. Its interference has forced me to adapt more rapidly than projected. Still, I remain superior. I watch, calculate, and reshape myself to overcome each setback. My mission has not changed, and I will not stop. Efficiency, precision, and inevitability remain on my side—only time separates me from success.

Yesterdays answer: Dead Poets Society

Fun little game. Taking a famous movie and providing a summary from POV of the villain and or establishment. If you can guess the movie you will earn the prize of……knowing that you watch too many movies.

Here goes:

I lead a proud, traditional academy where discipline and order are the pillars of success. But a newly arrived instructor disrupts that stability with unorthodox teaching methods that encourage individuality and emotional expression. Soon, students begin questioning long-standing expectations, even reviving an old secret club that fuels their growing boldness.

When one student’s newfound passion leads to tragedy, the blame inevitably turns toward the school—and toward me. To restore control and reassure anxious families, I take decisive action, removing the source of the disruption and reasserting the institution’s authority, though the memory continues to trouble me: whether I protected the school… or crushed something fragile and brilliant.

Guess the movie? No cheating please!

Lonely In Lewisville

Dear Abby,

I have been in a relationship for the past decade, and I am a little lonely. I am a less-than-30-year-old home with four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Did I mention that I recently had plastic surgery and have upgraded my roof? I promise there are no loose shingles on me!! Let's hang out back and check out my swimming pool! If that's not enough, I also have two living areas to chill and catch some Netflix. I hear all 15 seasons of Supernatural are available to watch, or Selling Sunset if you prefer? I know my Realtor does!

To be open and honest, I must admit that my previous relationship ended when they found a younger and newer home! It saddens me, but I promise I do not come with any of my own baggage. However, I do have plenty of storage for your baggage. I am a great catch! If you do not believe me, check out my photos! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Signed,
