They're forecasting modest home price appreciation and increased home sales activity. With rates now in the low 6%s and the slow winter months of November & December behind us, we're seeing a dramatic increase in showing activity and pending sales. 2026 has got to be better than super slow 2025 with its high interest rates. Can't wait to see what happens as we get into the spring selling season.

In 2026, we expect a steadier housing market, but it's not yet off to the races. Mortgage rates are forecast to average 6.3%, easing affordability pressures slightly, while home prices rise modestly by 2.2%.
