Looks easy, right?

A quick snap and suddenly everything’s brand new…
Yeah, if only it worked like that.

Behind every “simple” transformation is real work:
tear-out, repairs, prep, materials, and attention to detail that actually lasts.

Turning the Maverick into the ultimate work truck 📦🛠️

Loaded up with 20’ and 16’ boards for two different projects and still pulling around 50 MPG on the run from Lowe’s.

Small truck. Big capability. Efficient hustle.
This is what working smart looks like.

Loose shutter after painting? This is why 👇

Clips snapped and the wall and were just left. The call came after one blew down. We found and fixed 4 others while we were there.

The fix:
✔ Proper anchors
✔ Drilled out the old
✔ Secure install

Quick repair done right.

This was not ideal. When you're using your drill to mix paint. Ensure it isn't on the high setting 🤦‍♂️

Thankfully I put plastic down first

Another staircase transformation in the books.

The homeowner took the first step by removing the old carpet and wood balusters, opening things up and getting it ready for a fresh look.

They supplied the new iron balusters, and we came in to handle the install.

Each baluster was carefully measured, cut, and secured with epoxy to ensure a tight, long-lasting fit. This install used a shoe system selected by the client, giving it a clean, finished appearance while maintaining durability.

Big difference from where it started. Stronger, sharper, and built to last.

This is one of those upgrades that completely changes the feel of your home without a full remodel.

Part 2 – The Fix 🔧

After removing the damaged cabinet base, it was time to rebuild it the right way.

We installed a solid 2x4 support frame to eliminate future sagging, added new plywood decking for strength, and topped it off with a waterproof protective layer to handle any future moisture.

This isn’t just a patch job — it’s built to last.

If your sink base is soft, sagging, or showing signs of water damage… it’s only going to get worse.

✔️ Stronger structure
✔️ Moisture protection
✔️ Clean, professional finish

Small repairs. Done right.

A small plumbing leak doesn’t stay small for long…

This under-sink issue was caused by a cracked basket strainer nut. Over time, it leaked and led to severe water damage inside the cabinet.

The tricky part?
These leaks often go unnoticed until there’s visible damage.

🔧 What we found:
• Failed basket strainer nut
• Active leak/standing water
• Cabinet base with water damage

This is Part 1 — Where we replaced the basket strainer and dried everything up.

➡️ Stay tuned for Part 2 where we replace the base of the cabinet.

If you’ve noticed stains, odors, or moisture under your sink, it’s worth getting it checked early.

If your dryer takes two cycles to dry clothes… your vent might be clogged.

On this job we found:
• Lint packed inside the dryer
• A loose vent connection behind the unit
• An 8' vent duct when only about half was needed

Even dryers that vent straight outside still collect lint inside the machine and vent line over time.

Cleaning it out improves airflow, helps clothes dry faster, and reduces fire risk.

Low water flow from the faucet?

In this case the cartridge inside the faucet had worn out, restricting the water flow.
Replacing the cartridge restored the pressure and got everything working properly again.
