We are making a BIG push this week to work on projects around the house. Just after we purchased the house in September of 2021, I found this dresser on Facebook marketplace for $40 and knew I had to have it! It needed some real TLC. It was pretty scratched and banged up. But the mirror is original and the Bakelite clips holding it on are in perfect condition 😍 I refinished the top and gave the rest a good treatment of Howard Restore A Finish. The handles needed spray paint, as they were beyond revival. And voila, she’s done!

What a night for the parade! Well, until the veeeeery end when we walked home in a torrential downpour ☔️ But the whole day was festive and fun from the open studios to the West End Holiday Shop Crawl! We can hardly keep up with all of the fun festivities in Portsmouth!

It’s been a minute since I’ve had anything share-worthy inside the house! This is just a sneak peek at what’s happening in the Queen bedroom. (I refer to the bedrooms by bed size because they’re all different 😁) I agonized for a week over which shade of green I wanted. Yes, it’s close to the front door color. 🚪I like tying things together in the house that way. Green also happens to be my FAVORITE color! All shades of it. 💚 Stay tuned for more exciting updates to this room!
