Well… our home was struck by lightning. Again. ⚡️🏠

This time it hit hard—blew a hole through the attic and lit the spray foam insulation on fire. Thankfully, we had fire extinguishers on hand and could knock it down before it got out of control. If we hadn’t, we probably would’ve lost the whole house.

I can't stress this enough: get fire extinguishers for your home. Keep them in key spots—garage, kitchen, upstairs—wherever you might need them fast. You never think it’ll happen to you… until it does.

We've been displaced while repairs are underway, so if I’ve seemed quiet on here, now you know why. Appreciate all the support from friends and family—and if you're ever unsure about how prepared your home is for emergencies, take this as your sign to double-check.

Help us congratulate Kyle Atkinson Realtor and his sellers on the closing of their beautiful home in Verbena!!

The sellers were originally doing the sale as a for sale by owner. Kyle reached out to the owner and after meeting Kyle and seeing his determination and willingness to work hard for them, they knew he was the right person to get the job done.

Kyle worked diligently to help get this one to the closing table and in the end, was able to save the seller’s over $7000 with our full service, flat listing fee! (This is in comparison to a 6% model for example.)

That’s a ton of savings!
