Okay my gardening friends - quick question!

What type of perennials do you find work the best in the flower beds?
I am in Southern Oregon and after turning 62 yrs. old this year, I've finally figured out I don't want to re-plant my flower beds each year after the winter is past!

I have a variety of bulbs already planted; however, I don't want to plant many annuals.

Never thought I would get to this, but I'm tired of the time it takes to get the beds ready each year and how much it costs to re-plant!
I would love some suggestions!

I'm sooo excited about 2024! No particular reason other than I'm alive, in good health, and enjoying life to it's fullest!
