Last week I was talking to someone about how tough the market is right now. It’s slow, buyers have a lot of leverage, and the days on market is creeping up.

This week I’m reminded how tough I am. I have 6 transactions under contract!!! And 4 more listings waiting for their buyers to come along. Not one of these contracts have been smooth sailing and all of them are requiring a lot of work to push forward.

They insisted that if I wanted maximum exposure for my listings, a yard sign just wasn’t going to cut it.

So naturally, they climbed to the top of a skyscraper and hung a giant banner.

Is it a reasonable marketing strategy? Maybe not.

Will I continue using professional photography, targeted advertising, social media marketing, and local expertise instead? Yes.
