Representing my buyer in this 6,000 sq.ft commercial office deal has been the biggest learning curve for me in commercial real estate -- starting from the contracts, the differences in construction, the terminology, the building codes, permits, and then later coordinating aspects of the up-fit with architects, engineers, commercial appraisers, commercial interior companies and of course the bank and commercial loan process -- this has been a fantastic all-round-text-book learning experience.

Interesting to see the moods of the ocean -- from the balcony of the oceanfront condo -- just closed on Carolina Beach last month. One taken in brighter weather and one with snow!
The ocean is spectacular at any time, has the power to heal and inspire and makes me want to escape into it!!

I love venturing out of my comfort zone -- and I have always dreamt of the ocean -- the vast, the infinite and immeasurable -- it is the only thing I would like more in my life!!

Just closed on this beautiful oceanfront condo for a client last month on Carolina Beach with direct beach access.
Carolina Beach has an award winning boardwalk, a lot of growth and development coming to it and makes a fantastic second home or investment.
I am hoping to spend more time in this area -- time for a change!!

The surrounding area into South Wilmington also makes an excellent choice to call home or hold for the future. Wilmington as a metro area is growing, the airport has received $15 million in grants and the movie industry is coming back...

Nothing happens overnight --

Sometimes things seem like an uphill battle -- commercial real estate is one such game -- this is a project that started more than 2 years ago -- almost there but not quite.
