Dustin Click DRE #01903939, known to many as "Dusty", is a seasoned real estate investor, property manager, and entrepreneur with a deep focus on repositioning distressed properties and expanding access to affordable housing in Southern California. He is also a proud father of two amazing young girls who continue to inspire his work and values.
Dusty began his professional journey in social services, working from 1999 to 2004 at Star Ranch, a Christian-based, nonprofit residential treatment facility for learning-disabled and emotionally disturbed boys. He served as both a House Parent and Assistant Program Director and was also actively involved in the facility's summer camp program, helping lead therapeutic outdoor experiences and life-skills development.
In late 2004, Dusty relocated from Texas to California and joined City Commercial Management as a Property Services Coordinator. In 2005, he founded Daybreak Management, Inc., a California S Corporation, where he remains the sole owner and President.
After earning his California Real Estate License in 2012, Dusty shifted his focus from commercial property management to residential real estate investment-targeting distressed properties throughout Southern California. Between 2012 and 2014, he flipped 25 properties, primarily acquired at trustee sales and courthouse auctions.
Since then, Dusty has consistently completed 15 to 20 sales or acquisitions per year under the Daybreak Management umbrella. What began as a single rental unit in 2012 has grown into a portfolio of over 80 residential rental units - owned and operated under Daybreak Management, Inc., with active expansion ongoing. In addition to this, Daybreak Management self-manages all of its holdings and also manages more than 300 additional residential and commercial units across Southern California.
Today, Dusty's work is focused on building long-term value in communities through affordable housing and the revitalization of distressed properties, especially in San Bernardino County and the Barstow region.
