So this is what my deck has looked liked for days now with all the rain we’ve been having. The stain visibly protects the wood from the rain. See how it just sits on top? Now notice the boards I haven’t got to yet, the water soaks right into those boards!
I’m grateful for the rain, but I can’t wait to finish staining

While the husband was away hunting this last weekend, I had to do a late night project, of course. I’ve talked about painting the ugly thing for years but never was never quite sure of what I wanted to do…….until 6:00 last Saturday night 🤣 Lowe’s was still open though so I was good. Painted the fan parts, wallpapered the blades and replaced the globes. I think I love it 😍 what do you think?

Congratulations to my amazing clients! They finally closed on their dream house in the hills and I couldn't be happier for them.
Patience and persistence pays off sometimes :)

I enjoyed these clients very much. It's always a little sad at the end when we all walk away from the closing table and go our separate ways! When I know I won't be talking daily to them anymore. We had a lot of fun conversations 🫶

And, oh my goodness, the Sellers were absolutely incredible to work with! I appreciate them both so much. I feel so lucky to have been able to put this deal together for them.

How lucky am I that my last two deals were helping buyer clients purchase a fsbo (for sale by owner) home?! Both were fantastic deals, all the way around. I feel very fortunate to have had the experiences, not only for the first time, but to have two back to back like this. Very cool and I'm very grateful ❤️

Weekly !
Staining wood that is regularly subjected to heat and moisture from the sun and the air helps prolong the life of the wood. Weather is hard on raw wood! Getting this done before winter hits is ideal. I like Cabot oil stain, Jarrah Brown is the color I chose. Not only does it extend the life but it sure looks nice freshly stained, don’t you think?

Finally getting around to staining all the wood around my house. I’ve neglected it the last few years (shocker I know 😬) so I’m really happy to get it done this year. Although this rain is not helping me finish!
