Spring is hands-down the best time to spot grizzlies in Yellowstone National Park 🐻

We took a day trip from Red Lodge and cruised through Lamar Valley, and this beauty was right near the road (don’t worry, we stayed safely in the car!).

The craziest part? A woman next to us said this was the THIRTEENTH bear they spotted that day!

A little glimpse of our recent drive up the Beartooth Highway, now open for the summer season 🙌

This iconic scenic byway starts right in Red Lodge and climbs to nearly 11,000 feet, with endless mountain views, alpine lakes, and pull-offs that make it hard not to stop every five minutes.

Keep in mind we didn’t even make it all the way to the pass (it just keeps getting better the higher you go!).

If you’re coming to Red Lodge, this drive is an absolute must.
